Marketing Assistant – Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a zealous Marketing Assistant to support our entire organization. Marketing assistant responsibilities include assisting in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies. Also includes special marketing research projects, and working alongside team members to learn digital marketing.  This work is critical for the long-term growth of the company.

Duties

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the organization
  • Support in organizing various projects
  • Conduct market research and consolidate results
  • Update spreadsheets and databases
  • Assist in organizing events or digital campaigns
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s social channel and website
  • Assist with marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.)
  • Communicate directly with clients

Preferred Skills

  • Administrative or entry level sales or marketing experience
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Desire to learn best practices in marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, online applications (social)
